Eraserheads Reunion Concert....TAKE 2!

Oh yes my fellow 80s love children, the date for the much anticipated E-heads reunion concert (take 2) has already been posted. Thanks to MTV and SMART who will sponsor the said event.

CONCERT TITLE: The Final Set
WHEN:March 7, 2009

WHERE: To be announced on their press conference this coming January 19. But they say it's going to be held on either the SM Mall of Asia or The Fort grounds. Oh well, let's just wait and see.

Let's also pray that Ely will be in his best condition at this time.

As for the pic I got (see pic above), I was LMAO! They look so young and who said that plaid and checks are so in these days? E-heads made it cool years and years ago. Classic!

One of Singapore's shopping haven..HAJI LANE!

Ola chikkas! Sorry for going MIA the past couple of months. Life's been a roller coaster. Oh well, HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone and to you M♥! Thanks for always keeping this site alive. Haha.

As for my first post this year, I want to give you guys a glimpse of one of Singapore's shopping haven. I literally went mad for all those one of a kind pieces mostly vintage and edgy stuff. It's not your ordinary shopping place. It's a street with different stores left and right! How can you not go giddy over it?

It's exciting! Each store has a different feel whatever suits you. It's a combination of art and fashion. Artsy fartsy meets the fashionista...that kind of feeling. Indie..definitely not mainstream! Haha.

Like this one. Our first stop. Sorry I don't remember the names of the stores. My apologies. :)
Look closely, there's a bath tub converted into an aquarium beside the clothes rack. Nice concept. :) I was able to buy a jumpsuit in this store. From 89SGD, I got it for only 10SGD. Great buy! I loove!

Going up on this store, you'll see their very cute and vintage inspired dressing rooms. Red and purple! I especially love the details of the doors.

I've also seen this store selling clothes and plates...and other stuff. Don't you love the wallpaper?

And what's not to love with this black/white inspired store?

And those suitcases...plus The Beatles bag...nice!

Haji lane is a must-visit for all you shopaholics visiting Singapore. It's located near the Raffles Hospital at the Bugis MRT station.

Happy 2009!

We're still alive (so far). The past couple of months have been very demanding to say the least(what with my new job, toxic as hell, tip : don't work for a company in a hypermoving industry; and I♥ is still out of the country.)

Anyway, in an attempt to make a proper last post for 2008 (haha)here are some things that should make 2009 exciting.

1. Confessions of a Shopaholic
This will be 2009's answer to The Devil Wears Prada. I'm not alone in saying that this book is a lot more hilarious than TDWP. Trust me. I read it in 2004 - and to this day- I blame Sophie Kinsella for validating my love for excessive shopping (and chick lit)!

2. H&M in Manila
I'm not saying it's going to happen (just speculating like everyone else) - with the Global Recession and all - but if one can bring Hermes to the Philippines...certainly a girl can hope.

3. Britney in Manila
There I said it. I'm a Britney Post-JT fan. This is embarrassing, but hey this is our Blog. Haha. Again, this is just wishful thinking.

4. Global City, Taguig
The rise of this new business district has been meteoric! Less than a decade ago, this zip code was just a vast piece of land with Pier 1 (and the old MTV HQ) as its lone happening (?!) haunt. Then came Serendra, Embassy, Krispy Kremes (ha), Ascend, Cav, Barcino, Basilio's and so on. Major constructions are going on (hotels!) so we can definitely expect a lot more. Now if only we can extend MRT..

5. The US Inauguration and The 2010 Philippine Presidential Election
I'm not an Obama fan, but it's certainly exciting to see if he can live up to the hype. More importantly, what will Michelle's wardrobe be like ..I kid!
As for us locals, well, are you ready to see the impending drama/circus pre-election? This should be better then The Hills.
