Continue reading this article >>With the rise of the Blairbands...here comes the Blairwatch (Not its official name hehe. I just like to call it as such. :P). But outside the corners of the Upper East Side invasion, it's called the Betsey Johnson Bow Watch.
I'm not really a big fan of Blairbands because I think it's too flashy for my age. I'm a corporate slave at 24 and Blairbands will make me look like a Minnie Mouse wannabe while meeting with other ferosh corporate slaves. Therefore, Blairbands...not-an-option! :P But it's cute...when not overdone. Do you feel me M? Haha.
But this Blairwatch, I like. :) Betsey Johnson is an idealist of cuteness. Reminds me of those Sweet 16 days. Haha.
For more Betsey Johnson, check this out.

This is MAJOR!
Poor Serena! Photo from Just Jared.
No we're not heading to Perez-dom. I'm just channeling my inner Gossip Girl(just four more days of waiting by the way!). And yes I'm bored.
Just a bit of a background: Yesterday at work, I received yet another brain-wracking e-mail. I cannot disclose the email of course, but this is how it sort of looked like:
To: M (Manila)
Apply historical simulation approach for ___ calculation.
Split the _______ into ____ and Pure Skew ___ components. This is another tricky bit..<insert all unimaginable formula>.. Blah Blah.
Sorry it's a bit formulaic
From: S (London)
Sorry it's a bit formulaic???? Believe me it's the understatement of the year.
Don't get me wrong. I actually like brain-wracking emails, being the complete nerd that I am. I was just not in the mood for anything resembling a Math exam. Plus it was almost 7pm.
So in the hopes of finding serenity, strength and wisdom (to answer the email), I went to Rustans. Then there she was, Pretty Young Thing (PYT), browsing through racks after racks of bikini- goodness.
Who is PYT?
1. She's a starlet with a ridiculously gorgeous beach body.
2. Her surname sounds like a royalty
3. She's dating a band vocalist (who was with her shopping)
4. Bandboy is a religious boy.
5. And this is just too sweet, PYT is apparently now participating in his Church actvities.
Good for them.
That's it.
I know you love me
xoxo

"When life offers you a dream so far beyond any of your expectations, it's not reasonable to grieve when it comes to an end"
I've been meaning to read Twilight for a while now. I was just finding the perfect excuse to buy the book( and I found one, Powerbooks is currently on SALE). I must admit that I'm half embarrased to admit that I read lot of young adult fiction. But then again, 3 years ago I had this guilty pleasure called Gossip Girl. I own a plastic-covered copy that I hardly shared with anyone. Now, thanks to the wonderful machine called mass media, GG has gained a serious following from all ages! I'm finally out of the closet.
I should tell you that I'm no lit expert. I read the classics, a lot of non-fiction, history, finance, even the almanac. But mostly I enjoy light reading(translate: chick lit). If
1. I finish reading something in one sitting
2. I remember quotes from it involuntary
Then that makes a good book for me. Twilight is gooood for me.
I started reading it at around 1 am. Forced myself to sleep at 4am. Woke up at 11:30. By 4pm I'm done reading it. Now I'm writing a post about it. It's a New York Times Best-seller, but it's not exactly critically-acclaimed. Yes it's predictable- but most forbidden love stories are, right? To appreciate the book, I say that you forget the hype, curl up on your bed, bear in mind that the book is a young adult fiction( a love story at that) and just read.
And if you're anything like me e.g. part hopeless romantic, part delusional(hahaha). Go get this book, quick! (while it's still discounted! it's worth less than Php300).
Twilight is a perfect Saturday evening to Sunday morning reading.
But if you don't really like love stories, don't read it.
It's not that cheesy by the way.

S in Diane Von Furstenberg and B in Sonia Rykiel
for all you gossip girl fans (like me....eeeek!), here's a temporary fix for our gg withdrawal symptoms. B and S are in vogue's march issue. B showing off her shorter hairstyle (can't wait for the next gg episode! woot woot!) and S still looking fresh on her blonde locks. some preview pics..
