Eraserheads Reunion Concert....TAKE 2!

Oh yes my fellow 80s love children, the date for the much anticipated E-heads reunion concert (take 2) has already been posted. Thanks to MTV and SMART who will sponsor the said event.

CONCERT TITLE: The Final Set
WHEN:March 7, 2009
WHERE: To be announced on their press conference this coming January 19. But they say it's going to be held on either the SM Mall of Asia or The Fort grounds. Oh well, let's just wait and see.

Let's also pray that Ely will be in his best condition at this time.

As for the pic I got (see pic above), I was LMAO! They look so young and who said that plaid and checks are so in these days? E-heads made it cool years and years ago. Classic!

StereoLove: The Subways

I've always been a fan of indie bands and The Subways is no exception. The moment I heard 'Alright' I immediately fell in love. I love the girl and boy vocals combination! Sounds like The Donnas meets Boys Like Girls! Singing angels to my ears. It's the perfect song for a bad day! Billy Lunn (guitar and vocals) even quoted Penelope Cruz's character in Vanilla Sky to describe this song.

'Every single second is another chance for you to turn it all around.'

And their song Rock and Roll Queen...bliss! haha. Who tells you that...

You are the sun you are the only one
My heart is blue my heart is blue for you
Be my, be my little rock and roll queen

How rockstar can that get? Sorry. Sucker for rockstars here. :p

I'll try to embed the songs here later. I'll update u guys! :) For the meantime, you can check their official website and Myspace account.

Loved the guitar, it gives some old school rock and roll vibe. I don't know. It just feels like it. And the lyrics... 'So if you love me, won't you let me know?...' No doubt it's from Coldplay. :p
